Learn how to integrate Flarekit with PagerDuty
This integration within PagerDuty notifies the team about the impacted service, the support needed, and the on-call personnel to be paged. Flarekit integrates easily with PagerDuty to facilitate real-time incident management and communication. By connecting PagerDuty, incident alerts and notifications are streamlined directly into your workflow, ensuring timely responses and effective collaboration.
Step 1: Generate a General Access REST API Key in PagerDuty
Go to pagerduty.com and log into your account.
Navigate to Integrations > API Access Keys under Developer Tools.
Click Create New API Key.
Enter "Flarekit" as the description to easily identify this key later.
Note: Do not check Read-only API Key—if checked, the integration will not function properly. 5. Click Create Key, then copy the API key.

Note: Make sure to save your API key immediately, as it will only be displayed once.
Step 2: Run /flarekit integrations
To view the PagerDuty integration option, run /flarekit integrations
. Then, in the PagerDuty section, select Connect.

Step 3: Insert your API key
Copy the API key you generated earlier. Select the primary user, then click Connect to complete the process.
Step 4: Verify the integration success
Check the status to confirm the successful integration. The status should be displayed as "Connected."

This integration ensures Flarekit can manage PagerDuty incidents efficiently, providing real-time communication and collaboration during incidents.
