Last updated 11 months ago

Flarekit integrates easily with Google Meet to facilitate real-time communication during incidents. By connecting Google Meet, an automatic call link is generated and attached to the incident when it is created. This allows incident responders to join a call and collaborate effectively and quickly.

Step 1: Run /flarekit integrations

To see the integration Google Meet option, run /flarekit integrations.

Step 2: Sign in using your Google account.

Select "Connect" and then choose "Sign in with Google." Follow the prompts to sign in using your Google account and authorize the integration.

Step 3: Select all options

After signing in with your Google account, you will be prompted to grant Flarekit the necessary permissions. Ensure you select the following permissions to enable full functionality:

  • Read information about any of your Google Meet conferences: Allow Flarekit to read information about any of your Google Meet conferences. This permission is essential for retrieving details about existing meetings and ensuring proper synchronization.

  • Create, edit, and see information about your Google Meet conferences created by the app: Grant Flarekit to create, edit, and view information about Google Meet conferences created by the app. This permission allows Flarekit to automatically generate meeting links and update conference details as needed.

Once you have selected these permissions, click "Continue" to complete the integration process.

Step 4: Verify the integration success

Return to Slack and check the status to confirm the successful integration. The status should be displayed as "Connected."

This integration ensures Flarekit can manage Google Meet conferences efficiently, providing real-time communication during incidents.
