Learn how to integrate Flarekit with Zoom

PreviousGoogle MeetNextPagerDuty

Last updated 8 months ago

Flarekit supports Zoom for enhanced incident communication. This integration ensures that a Zoom call link is automatically generated and added to the incident, enabling quick access for all responders.

Step 1: Run /flarekit integrations

To see integration options, run /flarekit integrations.

Step 2: Sign in with your Zoom account.

Select "Connect" and then choose "Sign in with Zoom." Follow the prompts to sign in using your Zoom account and authorize the integration.

Step 3: Allow Zoom permission

Check "Allow this app to use my shared access permissions." Then, select "Allow."

Flarekit will access different types of data, including:

  • Participants

  • Registration & Scheduling

  • Product Usage

  • Settings

  • Profile & Contact Information

Step 4: Check the integration success

Return to Slack and ensure the status shows as "Connected" to confirm the integration was successful.

Auto-generated Zoom links

After the integration is connected, new incidents will have a Zoom meeting link added as a bookmark at the top of the incident channel for quick and easy access. Clicking on this bookmark will open the dedicated Zoom call in a new browser tab or open the Zoom desktop app if you have it installed.

Removing the Zoom integration

If you want to remove the Zoom integration you can use the /flarekit integrations slash command and click Remove.

When an incident is created a Zoom link is auto created and added as a bookmark to your channel
